The Founder of the E T Laboratory, The Late Mr. Neville Nanayakkara, one of the pioneer personalities in Printing Industry of Sri Lanka. He had his education at St. Joseph College, Colombo. He was a science graduate of the University of Colombo, a post-graduate in Print Media of the London School of Printing and a post-graduate in Industrial Management in the Netherlands. He was a fellow of two prestigious professional bodies in the United Kingdom. He was also a consultant of the UNDP. He was the youngest head of a government institution in Sri Lanka, holding the same position for over 24 years. Mr. Nanayakkara was the founder of the Sri Lanka Institute of Printing and the former Government Printer. He was serving the country as the Director General of the Sri Lanka Red Cross when he deceased in January 2019.

He took the opportunity through E T Laboratory to share his knowledge by conducting classes on electronic devises to the interested youngsters and the Air force students. He has written and published several books on Digital and on Microprocessor Technology.
